It is interesting that Donell Jones even has a best of. In the UK he had, now let me see, was it one hit single? 'U Know What's Up' gave him a top five hit, but then he vanished into the ether. This album is a collection of his best works and comprises thirteen songs. 'U Know What's Up' is the kind of track Mark Morrison should be making now, a smooth a seductive piece of r and with a hook laden chorus and a set of fine slinky vocals. Jones is convincing and realy feels the lyrics as he delivers them. The song works if you play it over and over too, so a good start.
