Advantages: The stunning 'Everybody Hurts'

Disadvantages: None whatsoever

Irish family group The Corrs, gather together their greatest plus a few unreleased tracks for their 'Best of' album released in 2001.

The first 2 tracks, 'Would You Be Happier?' and 'So Young' are light and upbeat and are great openers for the album. Next we have 'Runaway' a gorgeous love song, and then 'Breathless' the groups 1st UK number 1 single.

The next track 'What Can I Do' originally appeared on the group's 'Talk on Corners' album but was then remixed by Tin Tin Out which finally introduced them to the UK music scene. The original version is quite a bit different (and in my opinion, slightly better) so it's definately worth a listen.

Other highlights from the album are 'I Never Loved You Anyway', a feisty break-up song with fantastic lyrics. 'Lough Erin Shore' is an instrumental track played live to an audience; I wasn't loving this at the start but after a few listens it seriously grew on me, with it's lovely lilting melody.

My personal favourite though, is the band's cover of REM's 'Everybody Hurts'. It's gorgeous and understated with just Andrea Corr's voice singing over a guitar and fiddle.

The Corrs have helped to introduce traditional Irish music to the mainstream and their 'Best of' is a great addition to any music fan's collection.

Summary: Fantastic album with a great variety of tracks
