Well, it is indeed a 'best of' album but its the 'B-sides' extra disc that really make this special. Despite the claim that this is the band's first compilation, many of the tracks have appeared on albums that are 'pseudo-compliations' (i.e. live!). I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to get it out of the way now or else I’ll be forced to bring it up in every second paragraph. I was at Slane!!!! Yes, hooray for me indeed. Ok, it’s out now, deep breath and on with the review. This offering goes against the trend of most Best Ofs and does very nearly exactly what it says on the tin. That is to say, that this very nearly features U2’s best songs from the period in question. With U2’s latest album being very good but ultimately a bit too safe for it to be a classic (this pretty much goes against my op of the album), it’s nice to hear them when they were at their most ...  Read the complete review

III Tri-logy - Kingston Wall
Eclectic and strong. Some dull moments and failed experiments.

Between Two Worlds - I
Talented performers. But you wouldn't know it from listening to this.

The ATL Project - ATL
A couple of nice R&B tracks Sounds manufactured

The Black Waltz - Kalmah
Successful change of approach. Keyboards rule over guitars.

The Future Is Now - Non Phixion
Great raps and great beats None

The Sugarhill Gang - Sugarhill Gang
Classic Hip hop Long tracks. Songs are off-putting.

They Will Return - Kalmah
Faster, more energetic and more talented than predecessor. Classic heavy metal style sounds comparatively weak on occasion.

Tonight's Decision - Katatonia
Good album-art, memorable choruses, innovative guitar work, melancholy, emotive. Poor drums, repetitive, mainstream

Troll - Lumsk
Probably an impressive folk performance, I expect. Really boring and samey.

Warzone - Jungle Rot
More of the same. More of the same.
