Advantages: Some great up-tempo and catchy tracks, some lovely ballads
Disadvantages: A few of the slower tracks are quite weak
***The Call***
The opening track is an upbeat pop track with military beats in the background. It is pretty catchy and sticks in your head for a while after listening.
***Shape Of My Heart***
This is a slower track that is verging on ballad territory. As far as the slower songs go, this is one of the best on the album.
***Get Another Boyfriend***
Going back into more upbeat territory now, this is a fast-paced track with bags of attitude. It's another ultra catchy offering.
***Shining Star***
This is another upbeat track that is fairly catchy.
***I Promise You***
This is a slower track with nice vocals but it gets a bit dull towards the end.
***The Answer To Our Lives***
This is a mid-tempo pop track, and another catchy one.
***Everyone***
From the lyrics, this track appears to be a kind of tribute to the fans who have supported the boys over the years. It is another mid-tempo song and the repetition of 'everyone' makes it fairly catchy.
***More Than That***
This is another of the slower tracks and is quite lovely with the vocals and lyrics.
***Time***
This is another slower offering but I find it more dull than the other slow tracks. This is one to skip, for me.
***Not For Me***
This is a fairly upbeat pop track with a great hook. The 'no, no, I, I' repetition in the chorus is also very catchy.
***Yes I Will***
This is another slower track but it's not particularly interesting to me. The lyrics are very slushy - probably a bit too much for my liking.
***It's True***
This is yet another slow track and not too dissimilar to the previous track.
***What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful)***
This track was featured in The Princess Diaries movie. It is another slow track but the vocals and lyrics are both great and unlike the previous two tracks, it sustains my interest to the end of the track.
***How Did I Fall In Love With You?***
This is another slow track with good vocals and lyrics. It's quite similar to the previous track in that respect and just as good.
***Overall Thoughts***
I really like this album, although I can't say that I'm keen on every single track. As you can tell from my track-by-track comments, there are quite a few slow tracks on the album, and some of them verge on the dull and boring. For me, this detracts from what is otherwise a fantastic album. There are some great up-tempo tracks that are catchy and infectious, while some of the ballads are quite beautiful. All in all, it's an impressive album and one that definitely makes a good successor to the successful Millenium.
Summary: This is a really good album
