Most Thunder fans know all about the band's origins, formed when Luke Morley, Danny Bowes and Harry James, the guitarist, vocalist and drummer respectively of Terraplane, decided their new songs wouldn't work in the new band and instead formed Thunder, a band with a slightly different sound and a whole new attitude. What many of those fans who came across Thunder first won't know is what Terraplane sounded like. After all, their albums were no longer readily available when Thunder really got going in 1989 and their second album, 1987's "Moving Target", was never re-released until both albums came out as a double CD in early 2005.
