My Chemical Romance (MCR)'s major breakthrough album, The Black Parade is an emotional journey with songs where you can sense the emotion and power put into recording them to songs which make you feel great and just want to punch the air in joy.

This album kick-started my love for MCR and it's safe to say that I'm glad it did. Once you give this album a listen all the way through, you will definitely be wanting more and I would put money on the fact you will purchase one of their previous albums.

As good as this album is, it is definitely not for everyone. My Chemical Romance have developed a large fan base of young teens to 50 year olds in some circumstances who wouldn't give a limb for this band, but they also have a large number of people who would love it if this band stopped making music for good. But if you're willing to try something new and be open-minded about music, this could very well be the album for you.
