Having seen the first Young Guns film, and being a Bon Jovi fan, i was a little sceptical about the soundtrack for Young Guns II. The reason being, is that i, for some reason, was not that sure that a decent soundtrack could be 'gotten' from the film, but i should have known better. Previous Bon Jovi albums, especially New Jersey, should have put my mind at ease. I found that the soundtrack is very similar to other Bon Jovi albums and had their essence in there. The tracks are arranged well, and are performed as you would expect them to be, great (due to Jon Bon Jovi's vocal chords!). In 1990, Jon Bon Jovi branched out from the other members of Bon Jovi to make a solo album. This is the result: an album which is officially linked to the feature film 'Young Guns II: Blaze of Glory', and which features vocal and musical talents of such stars as Elton John, Little Richard and Randy Jackson. I came across this album when I first watched Young Guns II, sometime in the mid 1990s. I loved it immediately. The sad thing is that only one track made it big: Blaze of Glory, the title track and theme tune for the film.
