Advantages: Great catchy guitar pop songs.

Disadvantages: Last 3 tracks are average.

Jimmy Eat World are an American rock band.Bleed American is their fourth album.I had never heard of before I got this CD for a present and I was amazed I had'nt heard more about them.Nearly every song on it is well-made and obviously a lot of effort has gone into this CD.

You will probably have heard the song "The Middle" as it was a huge hit back in 2002.Jimmy Eat World are often mentioned in articles about one-hit wonders because of that song and that is very unfair."Bleed American" is one of the best pop records I have heard in a long time.It has a great range aswell,from the screaming rock song "Bleed American" to the mellow "Hear You Me" featuring female vocals.There are also plenty of catchy indie songs on the CD aswell like "A Praise Chorus" and "If you Don't,Don't".If you liked the song "The Middle" you will absolutely love this album.

One minor criticism of this album is that it sort of fades out towards the end because the last 3 tracks aren't great.But that is only a minor blip on an otherwise excellent album.

Summary: A must-have for any rock fan.
