Advantages: Best Of What Would Have Been A Brilliant Band

Blind Melon were a Led Zepellin inspired band who really were as good as the mighty band themselves. They made two albums before their lead singer Shannon Hoon died from an overdose. This album brings together early stracks and a few songs from the final sessions during the making of what would have been their third album. The album also contains their biggest hit No Rain which is revisited here as a kind of acid flashback. The production quality fluctuates. Rogers Steven’s guitar work is obviously Page inspired. This album is a fine way to end the Blind Melon story.
