Blow Up Your Video finds AC/DC attempting the impossible task of trying to change their sound. The riff that was once the keystone of their songs has been replaced on several numbers by some more thoughtfull guitar playing (although it must be noted that the solos are rooted more in madness than method throughout). It is reassuring to hear that the band seem incapable of straying from the rigid AC/DC song structure that has become a blueprint for their many imitators.
