Many of the songs clock in at just over a minute, with the longest just reaching the three-minute mark. This is a band who don't take themselves very seriously, as can be seen from the ridiculous lyrics on such tracks as "I hate Led Zeppelin" and "Mad at the paper boy". However, it hints at the direction Screeching Weasel would take on later releases with the classic "Hey Suburbia", arguably one of the band's best songs.

Rating:
Screeching Weasel play fast pop-punk heavily influenced by the Ramones. They are known for their insanely catchy songs and 'intelligently' stupid lyrics. However, before their "breakthrough" album, 'My Brain Hurts', they released this 26-track album of furious fast (and stupid) pop punk. Anyone familiar with later efforts by Screeching Weasel (such as the two Fat Wreck releases, "Bark like a dog" and "Television City Dream") will probably think this is a completely different band.
