I went to see these guys in concert when they toured with this album!

WOW!!

These fellas can put on a show and fill the room with light, passion and energy. Theyve been around for a longish time and can show some of these younger bands how to do it...I saw Snow Patrol that same year and was bored within half an hour!

The songs on this album hit you in a brilliant way. It opens with the lyrics "when she sings, I hear the crash of Angel wings"....Mike Scotts voice is powerful and evocative as ever. Strange Arrangement sung live was memorable for Mikes delivery of the lyrics and the heart in them too.

In the song "She tried to hold me" the words are just perfect! Anyone whos been in a relationship with a crazy female will understand the line "She was like skin surrounding thunder" A fantastic song and one of my fave lyric lines EVER!

Just go get this album if you have been wondering about it! You will not be dissapointed!

Summary: The Waterboys can show them young 'uns how to rock!!
