Advantages: Some good songs. No fillers. Lovely ballads

Disadvantages: Some songs aren't of the standard I expected.

I must admit I have mixed reactions when I first listened to this album. At first I was INCREDIBLY disappointed. Not only did the songs sound the same, but the chorus lyrics from Rewind were obviously an extract from the song 'Follow Me', which for some reason bugs me.

There are only 12 tracks, four of which are well known now ('Rewind', 'Walking Away', 'Fill Me In' and '7 days'). They are all very good songs as the nation nows, but to an extent these are all it is worth buying the album for.

The other eight songs are good, don't get me wrong, they just aren't what I expected of Craig David, he set high targets and started off on a high, and I just expected him to carry on that way. Some of these songs are a little below this expected level of mine.

The album however, has grown on me now, and though it will never be the favourite, it will always be played, because the world just cannot do without Craig David's mix of R&B, garage, two-step garage etc.

It is worth buying and you may be pleasantly surprised. Maybe I just expected too much from him.

I bought this brilliant album a week ago and haven't stopped playing it. You're right, all the tracks carry the distinctive David style. However, many of the tracks are quite different but none the worse for that. A very impressive first album from a major new talent.
