Braagas are a Czech 4 piece band made up solely of females who play a fusion of medieval and folk music, in particular Sephardic, Galician, Catalunian, Scandanavian and Balkan, often more than one style is used in tracks and it therefore gives it a pretty unique sound. They are on their own record label and tend to play mostly at medieval or folk festivals throughout Europe with a focus on Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia in particular. Their album No.1, released by themselves is the only one to date as far as I'm aware and is a superb collection of their songs.
