Ellie Goulding's album, released in 2010, is a difficult genre to sum up. However it is probably dance. Ellie's dance music reflects her childhood growing up in the country by her lyrics alone, and even though the background music isn't a country style, the lyrics are, which makes Ellie's music very interesting because of the dance music plus country style lyrics over the top of the tracks. Ellie's music is not only intelligent, but reflects her innocent and adventurous/questioning personality.
