Having been a contestant on Fame Academy, the only reason i checked out this record was because he was Fame Academy. In every sense of the word, i think Alistair Griffin is ordinary - he has a OK voice, a OK personality and i think he is general isn't anything special but this is a OK attempt at a record.

Bring It On is the obvious single choice being one of the only good songs on this record i'm sad to say, it's got that great song and given that it's the best song on the record so it's the title track! Great chorus and it suit's him perfectly. Painkiller could have made a excellent - again it's the great chorus that makes it great. You And Me, is really emotional and i think it's one of his better songs and i love to hear a ballad from him for a change, some really nice lyrics.

Hungry For Love, sounds boring i'm afraid - it's not anything special to me. I thought Feeling Alive, was quite boring really - isn't much of a song there. Something About Her, is a good attempt and it gave me goosebumps - love the lyrics and it sounds like a really good love song. A possible single if he had any sense. Real World, is a good attempt at him doing a mid tempo song and it works really well too - the verses are slightly weak but a fab middle 8 and chorus make up for it. I thought In Your Smile reminded me of a Ronan Keating song, i think the instruments are a little too loud on that one. I think Everything I Own is emotionally full of heart felt lyrics, just the way i like it! The Heart Can't Lie, is a nice way to end a otherwise good debut.

In no way is this a perfect or by anyway brilliant record - this is a good record and he had a good stab at it. He obviously loves his guitar (see picture, LOL!) and the guitar can be heard on almost every song especially on his only hit single, Bring It On. I think it's a good attempt and if you find it on any bargain bin which i think is very possible i'd get it!
