****REASONS FOR PURCHASING.****
I actually think this Brothers In Arms CD by Dire Straits, was the very first Album, I ever had in my CD collection. This is the CD I always play, when I am feeling down or a little sad inside. This CD of course has some great feel good songs on board it also, but the tracks "Why Worry" and "Brothers In Arms" from this album really make me cry a lot. Yes! They really do, but I think we all have a CD we like to pull out from our collections and listen to in our quiet times alone, when we are feeling down and this is certainly my one. It is the lyrics and haunting tones in these two tunes that make them feel this way to me. The rest of the album really is great feel good music though.

This is not my top CD I have in my collection, but it certainly is high on my list, is a great album I really enjoy listening to and also one that I highly recommend. I bought this Brothers In Arms CD not long after it was released into the Album chart, as at that time, CDs where just coming on to the market for sale and Brothers In Arms was one of the first Albums to be released onto CD I remember. Well of course back in the eighties Dire Straits where a very successful Rock Group and I could not get enough of their great sounding music to listen to, so of course I had to have this CD to try out for myself and to hear the newest sounds and lyrics from this great rock band.

Well I had already enjoyed some previous music by the group and had also bought a few singles by Dire Straits before this album was released so I was becoming a big fan of this rock group, but was completely won over after buying this particular album. I remember when I first ever played this album I was immediately impressed with each and every one of the great tracks I was hearing, blasting out from my CD players speakers. It was a great mixture of soft rock ballads, full Guitar riffs and excellent catchy lyrics that really won me over to Dire Straits music and had me playing this CD over and over again every single day, at full volume, back in the late eighties, when I was a teen.

I also remember my younger Brother liking Dire Straits also and he used to pinch this CD on me all the time. I caught him many times pretending to play Mark Knopflers great guitar riffs on his imaginary guitar in his bedroom with my CD blaring in the background and I used to go mad at him for taking this album on me, without asking my permission first. It certainly was a cherished album I owned, way back then and no one was allowed to touch it. A few years later I actually bought my Brother a copy of this "Brother In Arms" album by Dire Straits and he was really very pleased and just smiled back at me when I handed it to him.

Well anyway this CD holds some more very important memories to me. In fact it holds lots of memories for me actually. I attended two funerals in the early 1990's that both used the track of the same name from this album "Brothers In Arms" at the end of the service. Brothers In Arms was played at my best friends, Brothers funeral and the other funeral this track was played at, was my very best and dearest friend, who tragically died of cervical cancer at only 24 years old. Well it sure does hold sad memories for me, but I guess it certainly helps me remember my friends and the good times we had together also. Well other important people have sadly passed away from then in my life and sadly this album has turned to one that brings me to tears whenever I play it but I actually think this is a good thing and I really think it's a normal feeling to play songs that hold memories and that also bring back good images in our minds, of our cherished friends and family, that have sadly passed away.

Apart from the few sad songs that play on my emotions on this album there is also other great feel good tracks on it as well. There is actually nine tracks in total on this Brother In Arms Album and each and everyone have great lyrics to them all. There is also excellent solo guitar riffs by Mark Knopfler (the groups lead singer) that really will blow you away if you have never heard him play before. It really is a great rock album that was very popular in it's day and even over twenty years later, is still enjoyed by the younger generation. Just check You tube out. All the young up and coming Guitar players all want to be like Mark Knopfler and enjoy recording themselves playing "Brothers In Arms" on there.

Over the years I have replaced this Brothers In Arms CD a few times as it was digitally re-mastered and updated on several occasions (for the best of course) I actually need to replace the current copy I have, as I have some how managed to get the inlay wet and it's slightly crinkly at the moment. I have certainly had many hours of pleasure out of this album also and I really do seem to play this CD when I am by myself a lot. It certainly is a great album I am pleased to have in my CD collection, as it really is first class instrumental music, at it's very best and has some of the best guitar solos you are ever likely to hear on board it. Well it certainly is another album I can honestly say is certainly worth the £5, that I spent on it, as it truly is excellent rock music. A brilliantly written album that is a pleasure to listen to.

This album also goes down well with all age groups, as some of the songs on it are very well known like "Money For Nothing" and I find, when I play this CD when guests come around, they all know the lyrics to the songs on this Bothers In Arms Album very well indeed! It is a great album for entertaining with or just for listening to on your own, like I do a lot. Well it really is a great album that seems to be enjoyed by most of my friends and family also. A great eighties Album that was very, very popular and still loved and listened to today by me.

***A LITTLE ABOUT DIRE STRAITS.***
Well Dire Straits are a five member Rock Band from the UK. They where formed in 1977 by Mark Knopfler, who is the lead singer, guitarist and song writer of the group. They got the idea for the name of their rock band "Dire Straits" because when they first started out, money was a big issue with them. Well they made it into the limelight and where an instant success and liked by most people in the late seventies. They recorded and produced four successful albums before "Brothers In Arms" and this is when I personally became a huge fan of the group myself because the songs on this album are outstanding and will completely win you over in my opinion.

***SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ALBUM.***
The Album Brothers In Arms was the first album ever on CD to have sales of over one million copies. This was the fifth album that Dire Straits released into the charts on the 13th May 1985. This Album went straight to number one in the UK and also in the US. It made number one also in the album charts in eleven other countries also. There are nine great tracks on this Brothers In Arms Album and in total they last for nearly one hour. The album to date has won three Grammy awards. This album was also voted the 5th best album ever in the UK and that's not surprising, as it is awesome. Songs from this Brothers In Arms Album have been used in Movies and advertisements also.

***THE FRONT COVER TO BROTHERS IN ARMS.***
Well as I have said a few times on my reviews, the front cover to music albums are very important to collectors, as they are designed to catch the customers eye and they are very important to the fans who buy these albums also. Fans of Music albums, like myself, are always excited to see their favourite Pop Groups latest photographs, new emblems on the albums and they really must look very well really for buyers, so that is the point of including album covers and inlays on reviews.

The Front cover to this Brothers In Arms Album looks really good and catches my eye. I always know this is my Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms CD because of the great photograph of the old fashioned guitar that's printed on the cover. The front cover has a lovely sky blue background and set in the middle is a photograph of the National Style 0 Resonator guitar, that seems to be floating in a blue, but cloudy sky.
This photograph is edged in baby pink and highlights the photograph very well. Also printed at the top in the same baby pink colour, is the name of the group Dire straights to the right and to the left the name of this great album ''Brothers In Arms''.

Overall it's a very nice front cover to a music album in my opinion that's very easy to recognise from the famous photograph of it's old style guitar printed on it and I can find it very easily from my collection when I am looking for it also. It really does look great in my CD rack also and is a good front cover to a music album in my opinion.

***BACK COVER TO THE BROTHERS IN ARMS ALBUM.***
The back cover to this Brothers In Arms CD is also a lovely baby blue colour and it has all nine tracks printed in black lettering on the left hand side. All nine tracks are really easy to read, as they are printed in capital letters. At the bottom on the right hand side of this back cover there is also a lovely photograph of the same National guitar, but this time it is coloured in, in lovely pastel shades that form a picture of a landscape. Of course the name of the record company 'Vertigo' is printed on the back cover also. Overall a good clear back cover to this album that's very easy to read the listed tracks printed on it.

***INLAY TO THE BROTHER IN ARMS ALBUM.***
The inlay to this Dire Straits Brothers In Arms CD, is a great little inlay that opens up into a useful eight page booklet. It only has one photograph inside it, that's again of the famous National guitar and all the other pages include useful printed information. There is four great pages in this inlay of printed lyrics to all the nine tracks that are included on this album. I personally find included lyrics are really useful in album inlays, especially if they are all new songs that I don't know the words to.

All the rest of the information included in the Brothers In Arms inlay is about the names of those in the group Dire Straits, producers names, recording studios and all the special "Thank You" from the group themselves. Well it certainly is a great, useful, little inlay booklet, especially with all the songs lyrics printed in it that I really like myself.

***THE ALL IMPORTANT TRACKS ON THIS ALBUM***
Below is a little bit of information about each one of the nine tracks that's included on the Brothers In Arms Album, when the songs where released, who they where written by of course, what they really sound like and what each track means to me personally. They really are all great tracks with great background music and lyrics to them all. Well enjoy the information on them all or skip this part by. It's totally up to you. Well enjoy the read if you continue.

***So Far Away.***
This first track on this Brothers In Arms Album is really excellent. It was written by Mark Knopfler (the lead singer and guitarist of Dire Straits) This song was released into the charts in 1985 as a B-side to the song Walk Of Life, but it reached number 19 in the billboard charts on it's own accord. It runs for just over five minutes and it is an excellent rock song indeed.

Well this great rock song is outstanding in my opinion. I really love this song a lot and I can remember dancing around and going slightly crazy to this in my local disco with my date, when it was first released. Everyone seemed to love this song in the eighties and it was played a lot on the Radio I remember. It sure holds great memories to me indeed! This song begins with Mark Knopfler hitting his electro guitar and playing some pretty excellent, deep bass riffs. Wow! It is excellent and really must be heard. The intro to this song begins with Mark Knopfler playing an excellent solo guitar for around forty seconds, then he gets joined by the rest of the members of Dire straights on keyboards, guitars and he then begins to sing in his deep, sexy and husky voice, the great lyrics to this song and manages to play one on the best guitar tunes ever, all at the same time. Amazing! What talent.

This really is a great sounding, softer rock song with plenty of great guitar riffs, great drum and percussion sounds also throughout it. It really is a very catchy tune indeed that's great to dance with a partner to when you hear this playing I find. Yes! It is one of those great catchy tunes you certainly will love whenever you here it.

The lyrics to this song So Far Away, are sort of romantic ones in my opinion. Mark Knopfler sings a story of being so far away from the love in his life and being fed up with the whole situation really. It really is a very catchy little song that repeats the chorus "So Far Away" a lot through it, but it truly is excellent and I love listening to this a lot. A really enjoyable song that makes you feel great inside, just wanting to get up and dance to this right away and also scream out the chorus "So Far Away" whenever you hear this being played.

***Money For Nothing.***
What a song this one is and has to be one of the best of the eighties. Well Money For Nothing was written by Mark Knopfler and Sting. It was released into the UK charts in June 1985. This song runs for over eight minutes, but of course was shortened for Radio play to 4mins and 38 seconds. Money for nothing reached number four in the UK charts and reached number one in the US and stayed at the top of the Billboard charts for three weeks. This song was a huge international hit for Dire Straits. Sting was asked to provide some backing vocals for this song and the chorus ended up sounding the same tune to his own song "Don't Stand So Close To Me" and is a great touch to this track I personally feel.

Mark Knopfler was inspired to write Money For Nothing when he was in an electrical store one day and when he met a guy working there, who served him. Mark asked him for a piece of paper and wrote down most of the words the guy spoke to him and made it all into this excellent song.

The lyrics to this great song though caused a bit of controversy at the time with some gay men, as it include the line "The little faggot with the earring and the make-up" so the lyrics where sometimes changed for Radio play and the word Mother was used instead of Faggot by the way. On this Brothers In Arms album though, the word "faggot" is still used.

Well now for the sound of this excellent song. It really is truly amazing indeed, in every single way. The first time I ever heard this song, I absolutely loved it. The guitar sounds really have to be heard on this track as they are one of the best you are ever likely to hear. Money For Nothing starts of with the most amazing Guitar riff by Mark Knopfler, who starts this excellent song of. Wow! It is excellent. One of the best guitar riffs ever in my opinion. This great guitar Blast is joined by great drum beats, synthesiser sounds and excellent worded lyrics. This great guitar riff runs right the way through Money For Nothing and is played out in full, whenever it hit's the chorus. It really is an excellent piece of guitar music. You really will be moving when you hear this song. Mark Knopfler sings this song in his very unique voice and Sting sings the backing Chorus throughout this track also, to the tune of his own song "Don't stand so close to me" and this really blends well and contributes to this sound. It really is an excellent rock song of the eighties, that I am sure is remember by most people and an excellent track on the Brothers In Arms album.

The Lyrics to Money for nothing are true eighties ones. The Video to Money for Nothing was the very first Music Video aired on MTV, so I guess that is why the lyrics "I want my MTV" are included in it. Well this song was written by Mark Knopfler, when he was in an electrical store, as I said above and he wrote down all the words the guy working there, was saying to him. He of course made it into this great song. This songs tell a story of things that where new in the eighties, for example, he sings about yo-yos and how to do it, watching MTV and installing fitted kitchens and microwave ovens. All these things mentioned in the lyrics of Money for nothing are certainly telling us about that era. Of course the words Money for nothing and chicks for free is referring to himself at the time.

Money for nothing is certainly one of the most memorable eighties songs. Everywhere you went back then in 1985, this great catchy track was blasting. It really is a great song that brings back great memories of my teenage years.

***Walk Of Life.***
This is another excellent track from this Brothers In Arms Album that I personally love. It was a very successful song and I would be surprised if no one has heard of this great song before. Walk of life was released into the singles chart in December 1984. It reached number two in the UK charts and number seven in the US. This song has been used in television programmes and a had a charity walk named after it also.

The background sound of this track if very uplifting in my opinion. It is quite fast passed indeed and certainly makes you move you feet to the rhythm of this one. It really is very catchy indeed. Well Walk Of Life starts of with Guy Fletcher playing the main tune over and over, on the keyboard, for around thirty seconds before being joined by Mark Knopfler and John IIIsley on guitar. As always it really is the greatest guitar rift to accompany this song. The bass, keyboards and guitar sounds really are the best from them all during this song. There is further great solo guitar sounds throughout this also. It certainly is a very catchy and a very fast passed tune that is accompanied by excellent lyrics. A very unusual song, but it really blends very well together to create this famous track that I really enjoy listening to.

The lyrics to Walk Of Life are really good. Mark Knopfler sings a story of one man named Johnny who in days gone by used to walk from town to town, telling all the locals about the great adventures and things he had come across on his travels. It really is a lovely tale, made into a fun sort of story. Walk of life is what this was called over the years by travellers. Well the lyrics are extremely catchy in Walk Of Life and the chorus is short. This song does not repeat it's self at all and I think it's very nicely sang and performed by Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. A great catchy track with a fast beat throughout it indeed, that is certainly worth listening to.

***Your Latest Trick.***
I absolutely love this song. This excellent track was written by Mark Knopfler, the man with many talents. It was released into the UK charts in 1986 and reached number 26. It was a number one single in France. This song has a famous saxophone introduction to it that is now widely used in music shops because of this excellent piece of music that Mark Knopfler wrote for it. Despite it's low chart position this really is a very well know song and outstanding piece of softer rock music that is very recognisable.

Well now for the sound of Your Latest Trick. The sound from the background instruments throughout this whole track is nothing but fantastic. This song starts of with the greatest saxophone solo you are ever likely to hear and that's the truth. This amazing piece of music played at the start of Your Latest Trick lasts for around fifty seconds before being joined by Mark Knofler on his electro guitar and softly singing the great lyrics to this song. I love it! It's really beautiful indeed! It really is a lovely romantic rock song in my opinion. The beat throughout this fantastic song is continuous and perfectly performed. Mark Knopfler sings this really brilliantly also. He really shows deep emotions singing this track. The saxophone continues on through the chorus also, only stopping when Mark Knopfler stops singing and it really is beautiful. Lots of keyboard, light drum beats and other great little instrumental sounds, all compliment the backing sound beautifully indeed. It's an excellent soft rock song I am so pleased is on this Brothers In Arms album, as I love this so much. Incredible!

Well apart from this excellent background music throughout The Latest Trick Mark Knopfler not only plays his guitar beautifully, but he sings this song note perfectly in a softer, quieter voice, that's very sexy indeed in my opinion. He sings a song of having a friend who has taken him for ever single thing he has. It really is a lovely story and never repeats itself once, apart from the chorus, which says. "All I can do, is hand it to you" "and your latest trick" which to me is very well written indeed. This really is an excellent soft rock song by Dire Straits that is really great to listen to because of the great saxophone sounds through it and of course the lyrics are very meaningful also. Well it is an excellent song that I highly recommend listening to if you never have before because you will be blown away by the excellent piece of music played on the saxophone.

***Why Worry.***
This is one of the songs on the Brothers In Arms Album that leads me to tears every single time I hear it played. I usually get My Brothers In Arms album out and play it when I am feeling low, just to hear this amazing song and to help me think about the good times I had with my long, gone friends also. Why Worry was released into the UK charts on the 30th April 1985. I cannot find any information to it's position in the charts, but it was certainly released from the Brother In Arms album. I remember whenever I first ever heard this song, I really liked it immediately. It really is very beautifully written and the background music is outstanding.

Why worry is a very soft rock song indeed. It really is romantic, but very sad also. It starts of with a very gentle, medieval and somewhat Spanish style introduction to it. This introduction is just beautiful to listen to also. It really is. An excellent piece of guitar music indeed. Just beautiful. It lasts for over one minute and it is very gentle and relaxing listening to this. After the amazing introduction to this track a great keyboard sound loudly joins Mark Knopfler, gently dies down and fades when he first starts singing the beautiful and meaningful lyrics. It really is incredible indeed. Well Mark starts singing in a very gentle, but deep and husky voice that is so unique indeed and I really do not think anyone else could sing this song in such away as he does. It really is amazing. There is a beautiful chorus to this song also and plenty of great instrumental pieces from a piano and of course Mark Knopflers electric guitar. Towards the end of the song it again becomes another excellent instrumental piece of guitar music, piano sounds and other little instruments, that make this song a true masterpiece in my opinion. It is incredible and under rated in my eyes. One of my favourites songs ever written.

The Lyrics, I personally think, are what make me cry along to this song. Yes it can be romantic in it's own little way, but I find the lyrics to be really sad ones and bring back memories of my best friend every time I hear it, as it meant a lot to us. Well this song tells the most beautiful story ever of feeling down and always having a special someone around when you are feeling this way, to help pick you back up again. The chorus is really beautiful also "But Baby I'll wipe away those tears" so you can see that it really is a sad song indeed because of this chorus. Well this to me is an excellent soft rock song that I really love. It would be in my top ten favourite songs ever. I just love it so much because of the special memories it holds. I think if you buy this Bothers In Arms CD you will see exactly what I am talking about.

***Ride Across The River.***
Ride Across The River is another excellent song by Dire Straights. It was released into the charts on the 8th August 2000, but no information is available that I can find, of how well this song did in the charts, but it was released from the Brother In Arms Album. This song last for 4.57 minutes and it is another great piece of music by Dire Straits in my opinion. It was again written by Mark Knopfler.

Ride Across The River Starts of with gentle cymbal sounds that get joined by the keyboard and Mark Knopfler on his electro guitar in a continuous, enjoyable and softer beat. There is loads of different little instruments used in this some what unusual style rhythm. To me this is slightly reggae music with a twist of soft rock music to it also. It also has a great guitar piece in the middle of it and Mark really gives it all on his guitar in this piece. It is amazing. Another very relaxing piece of music indeed, that I love listening to and a great track on this album.

The lyrics to Ride Across the river are good ones also. That really help make this great song, I guess. Mark Knopfler really does not sing a long story in this song, but little ones in between the great instrumental pieces of music. The story tells a sad tale of men marching into different battles around the world and paying with their lives. It is a good song on the Brothers In Arms CD that I am glad is included because of the great guitar riffs, especially at the end of this track.

***The Mans Too Strong.***
This great song by Dire Straits was released on the 19th September 2000, but there is no chart entry that I can find for this track. It lasts for 4.40 minutes and is another excellent song to listen to on the Brothers In Arms Album, that I personally love. It was written by the lead singer and guitarist, the great Mark Knopfler.

The Mans Too Strong to me sounds like a real country type of rock song, that is another excellent piece of Music written by Dire Straits that I really love to bits. It truly is outstanding to listen to this track on this album. It starts of slightly quieter and gets slightly louder towards the chorus. The introduction starts of with Mark Knopfler strumming gently on his electro guitar and a harmonica can be heard in the back ground at times also. The introduction soon gets joined by Mark Knopflers excellent deep voice and he sings this song perfectly. It really is great. This song really livens up with great drum roars when he sings the chorus to this great track. The harmonica gives this song great sound also throughout it. The end of The Mans Too Strong is a gentler piano and guitar melody, that again livens right up, at the very end, to fade to a gentle strum from Mark Knopfler on his guitar. It really is a lovely song indeed and must be heard on this album.

The lyrics to The Mans Too Strong are really sang superbly by Mark Knopfler. His voice is real country and western sounding and fit's this song perfectly. David sings his story of the Civil War and it being lead by a dictator (I am not sure who exactly though) and it tells the story of him being an awful corrupt man. The end verse sings about him being punished for his war crimes. It really is an excellent story and song that I really enjoy listening to. I wish I knew exactly who Mark Knopfler was referring to in it though. Well an excellent story to this fantastic song that I really love. I am so glad this track is on the Brother In Arms Album also.

***One World.***
One world is another excellent piece of guitar music and of course a great song that I personally enjoy listening to on the Brothers In Arms Album. One World was released in May 1985, but I do not think it entered the UK or US charts. This track lasts for 3.40 minutes and is a great piece of rock music indeed.

One World is really fantastic in my own opinion. It is a song that has great meaning to me personally and brings back lots of great memories of the eighties and early nineties. The beginning of this song starts of with a softer fanfare of guitar, piano and keyboard sounds that play very slowly for around 15 seconds before quickening up to become faster paced and then they get joined by Mark Knopfler singing this incredible catchy song. One World has a very steady beat to it that speeds up and slows down a lot throughout it. It has a great bass guitar riff in the middle of it also, that I really like. Well it really is an excellent piece of great guitar music with deep soul I guess. This will get you moving to the beat of it whenever you hear it played, as its awesome. I love it!

The lyrics to One World are really great also. They tell a story of feeling blue and Mark Knopfler sings this superbly and is looking for his antidote for his blues, from watching TV to finding a reason why they where caused. I guess he just can not find the answer though. Well this really is a very catchy little tune. The lyrics are short to this song, but the guitar pieces certainly make up for it and are a pleasure to listen to indeed. It really is another excellent rock guitar song, that I really like indeed.

***Brothers In Arms.***
The best track was certainly saved for last on this album. This song outshines all the other tracks put together on this album. Oh they are all great tracks indeed, but the song Brothers In Arms is sure in a league of it's own. It is an incredible piece of music and one of the best songs ever written. This song really does stand out above the rest. It is amazing! Brothers In Arms was released into the charts in December 1984 and reached number 16 in the UK chart. It really is surprising to me that it did not make number one, but you will notice a lot of top one hundred songs never did either. This song has been used in many Movies and TV shows over the years because it really is an outstanding and very popular song indeed! If you have never heard Brothers In Arms before, I am going to suggest that you go buy this album right away. You really do not know what you are missing.

Brothers In Arms is another song that brings tears to my eyes. It really is one of those very haunting and sad introductions to a song, that really makes it feel this way though.. I remember when I first ever heard this song played. I truly was amazed by it's excellent background music and fantastic lyrics. This song starts of with the sounds of a fierce thunderstorm and soon gets joined with a somewhat sad sounding guitar tune that is very slowly played. It is also accompanied by deep bass guitars riffs also. It really is very slow and an outstanding introduction to one of the best rock songs ever written. Well after this haunting and somewhat eerie introduction, that lasts for around thirty seconds, Mark Knopfler begins to sing very gently and quietly (if not whispering) this amazing song. It gets accompanied by an accordion sounding, keyboard sound. It is a very Scottish sounding track indeed. It continues on very slowly to the second verse, where it then gets joined by a steady drum beat and gentle sounds from the electro guitar. Wow! It is incredible sounding indeed. I have listened to this song hundreds of times and it still makes the hairs on my arms stand on end.

Well Brothers In arms carries on to the third verse and there is an excellent guitar riff that plays in the background of this gentle rock sounding tune. The mixture of sounds is outstanding. Truly amazing. The closing of Brothers in arms is an amazing guitar solo, that really concludes this outstanding piece of music. This song really will send shivers down your spine from it's haunting rhythm and outstanding background tune.

The lyrics to brothers in arms are outstanding also, but they always bring tears to my eyes. This song was used at a few funerals I attended and I guess it holds sad memories of those times, but it really is telling the story of Scotland and the Civil Wars there, of long ago and even includes a piece about the current day wars. It is a masterpiece of writing. One of the best songs ever written. Mark Knopfler is a genius and should never be forgotten for producing such outstanding lyrics, giving us all endless hours of entertainment on his guitar and for singing in his very unique and husky voice, that I really adore. Brothers In Arms is outstanding and a real pleasure to listen to overall.

***MY OVERALL OPINION OF BROTHER'S IN ARMS.***
Well what an album Brothers In Arms is and one I am very certainly pleased and happy to own. I really do get endless hours of what I call "My Time" with this album and will peacefully sit and listen to each and everyone of these nine great tracks, over and over again. It is an outstanding album and one of the best eighties albums to be released.

Brothers In Arms, when I listen to it, really does help me remember the great times in my life, especially the ones I had with my passed on friends because of two tracks on it that are really quite sadly performed overall.

These tracks really do refresh my mind and put great thoughts back inside it. Although these songs recall death to me, they bring back the happier times in my life as well. The other seven more up lifting tracks on the Brothers In Arms album are great ones that I am very pleased are included on it also. It really is a great rock album that contains softer rock ballads, to full blown rock guitar riffs. High enjoyable indeed.

Each and everyone of the nine tracks on the Brothers in arms album are unique and all tell their own special little stories. Of course the excellent rock guitar music really helps make these songs also, so between these two great blends, we get one excellent and very enjoyable music album indeed. Brothers in arms certainly is worth every single penny I have spent on it. My copy is tatty and worn, but that shows it is loved I guess.

Dire Straits really are a very talented rock group. Each and everyone of their tracks are amazing and a pleasure to listen to in my opinion. This rock group really can perform on stage, play many musical instruments, write excellent songs and sing very well indeed. This really is what makes them so great. Brothers In Arms was their most successful selling album because of all the excellent and huge hits they had from it. It certainly is the best album I have in my collection by Dire Straits and one I listen to a lot.

Would I recommend this album? Well I guess if you have read this review you will already know that I certainly would highly recommend it to everyone. If you like rock music and have never heard of Dire Straits, then I certainly would say 'buy a copy' It really is excellent indeed. The group perform extremely well and are a real pleasure to listen to. You really will be won over if you listen to Brother In Arms (the song) All nine songs on this album tell great little stories indeed also. It really is worth checking this group and album out for yourselves, to hear what I am talking about.

A truly amazing and a highly enjoyable music album, that has the best of Dire Straits music on board it. £5 really is a cheap price to pay for such excellent entertainment also and for listening to the most amazing guitar and music sounds around in my opinion.

Thank you Dire Straits for writing, producing and performing this Brothers In Arms Album. It really means a lot to me, recalls so much memories in my life and has given me endless hours of entertainment.
