Buddy Holly was one of the most influential rock and roll stars of the fifties. He made such classic records such as Peggie Sue, Rave On, Oh Boy, That'll Be The Day and many more. He died at the age of twenty two, when an private plane he was travelling in crashed, the crash also killed other famous rock and roll stars, they were Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper. The plane crashed during a tour they were doing in Midwest America. He wrote many records including Not Fade Away which was later revived by The Rolling Stones, giving them their first hit single.
