There are a few spoilers about the actual show in this review. ====== What Is Buffy The Vampire Slayer? ====== Well the question should now be what was Buffy The Vampire Slayer? It was a massive television show about the chosen one, the slayer. In every generation there was one girl in all the world, who protects us from the evil forces of darkness. In comes Buffy Summers, a troubled child from Los Angeles, who burned down her old school gym (fighting vampires) she has moved to the picturesque and quite town of Sunnydale. She goes to the local high school, and makes friends with not only the popular kids, but also two geeks, Willow Rosenberg and ... Read the complete review

*Please note that there may be Buffy the Vampire Slayer Spoilers in this Review* About this time last year, I was introduced to the whole Buffy the Vampire Slayer scene. Call me behind the times if you want, but it's a bit difficult to get to watch a programme that is on BBC2 at 6.45pm when you work shifts! The episode that converted me was the one in which this album is the soundtrack to, Once More With Feeling. The following day I was HMV and saw the soundtrack sitting on the shelf, but it was £15.00. I thought it was a bit expensive at the time, so I decided to leave it until pay day - and wouldn't you know, when I went to buy it, they had ... Read the complete review

*Spoilers for the show contained* - Backkground Information - Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of those cult TV shows that refuses to die even 6 years odd after it stopped airing on television. The show was based on the life of its title character [played by the brilliant Sarah Michelle Gellar] who was the latest in a long line of women chosen to fight vampires and other supernatural forces. She was known obviously as the slayer. Surrounded by a group of friends Buffy fought off various evils that crawled from her hometown's own Hellmouth though the show did far more than just battle evil. It tackled various gritty issues such as rape, addiction ... Read the complete review

This album was created for the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In this episode, a spell has been cast which causes all the residents of Sunnydale to burst spontaneously into song, and then spontaneously combust due to an overexhertion of constant siging and dancing. 'Once More With Feeling' is quite an impressive album considering that most of the actors have very little singing experience. I'm sure many Buffy fans will find it rather funny that Sarah Michelle Geller is in fact one of the least talented singers out of the lot, which must have been extremely difficult to manage as she is the the centrepiece of ... I think I should start by saying that I'm a huge Buffy fan (*see footnote). But I'll try to keep this review as impartial as possible for any people out there reading this who aren't fans yet. Music and lyrics are by the apparent genius Joss Whedon. A bit of preamble I feel is justified before getting onto the songs themselves - so skip the next few paragraphs if you wish... This CD contains all of the songs and music from the musical episode "Once more with feeling" from the sixth season. It also contains music from the award-winning episode "Hush" and a couple of other episodes. The TV cast (and some of the ... Read the complete review
