This CD hails from when James Masters hadn't killed his hair with peroxide. When Angel didn't look do porky and Buffy didn't look like a twig -- having been (eleased October 1999, but still this remains one of my favourite aspects of the entire Buffy run. I'm not too sure about the second BtVS compilation, but having had this CD since 2001 and having bought it twice and lost or damaged it it three times (burglary, ex didn't return it and got wrecked at a party) and still looking for a replacement even now, I think that shows how much I love it. Track 1.Buffy The Vampire Slayer Theme - Nerf Herder 8/10 Synonymous with all things Slayer. Great ... Read the complete review

Being slightly obsessed with Buffy, I brought the CD on the day it came out which was quite a while ago now and I still listen to it today. The last time was actually only 3 days ago and I was in my car singing at the top of my voice to every single song as they are all fantastic. Here I will tell you why you don't necessarily have to like Buffy the show to love this album. So the Buffy album contains 17 songs from the show and they all come from the first few seasons so if you do watch the show you will be able to recognise every song on the album. It goes on for over an hour if you listen to it all at once and is fantastic value for only about £4 at the ... Read the complete review

I'm not generally one for compilation albums, but when the TV soundtrack for Buffy the Vampire Slayer came out (back in 1999), I knew it was one I had to get. Actually, my husband bought it for me to cheer me up while I was studying for exams - what a sweetheart ;) One of the many things I love about the show is the generally excellent choice of music. I already knew a couple of tracks on the album (Garbage, Hepburn) but was not really familiar with the other artists. I am now! Although it's not really relevant to the music, but I have included the episodes in which the tracks featured along with their episode number for all you die hard Buffy fans. ... The best thing about this album is that it doesn't just appeal to those who enjoy the TV show. The album has an amazing collection of music, ranging from chilled out mellow tracks to more upbeat rock tracks. There is sure to be something to appeal to everyone, however I think it will mostly suit those who enjoy listening to something "a little different from the norm" Most of the tracks and very mellow and chilled out so it would suit someone who appreciated that sound. 1) Buffy Theme - Nerf Herder - The full of energy theme tune that fans will be very familiar with. Only short as it's the exact replica of the tune from TV. Very upbeat, with ... Read the complete review

I bought this CD the week it came out in the shops. From the moment I first played it, it became the most listened CD in the house. My Best friend bought the CD at the same time and she also listens to it over and over again. My next-door neighbours joined the trend shortly after. The only problems with this CD are: 1 - You may become hooked! 2 - There needs to be a new one for the new seasons. (But it looks like this will be the only CD for BTVS). Quick review on the tracks: Track 1 is just the basic theme tune. If you've seen any of BTVS then you would have seen it in the first credits. Track 2 is a ... Read the complete review
