Advantages: Variety of songs, Something for Everyone, Lovely and chilled!

Disadvantages: Hepburn

The best thing about this album is that it doesn't just appeal to those who enjoy the TV show. The album has an amazing collection of music, ranging from chilled out mellow tracks to more upbeat rock tracks. There is sure to be something to appeal to everyone, however I think it will mostly suit those who enjoy listening to something "a little different from the norm" Most of the tracks and very mellow and chilled out so it would suit someone who appreciated that sound.

1) Buffy Theme - Nerf Herder - The full of energy theme tune that fans will be very familiar with. Only short as it's the exact replica of the tune from TV. Very upbeat, with good guitar and drums.

2) Teenage FBI - Guided by Voices - One of those 'different' tracks. A jazzy guitar song which is bound to make you smile.

3) Temptation Waits - Garbage - Another slightly rocky track, it is a typical garbage track with the unique sinister edge.

4) Strong - Velvet Chain - The first of a number of mellow tunes, ideal for chilling out to. The vocals are quite haunting, and work well with the music.

5) I quit - Hepburn - Probably the most well known song from the album, however possibly my least favourite. The 'pop' sound in this song can't be found anywhere else in the album and it stands out like a sore thumb! Not a track I choose to listen to.

6) Over My Head - Furslide - A song which borders between mellow and upbeat, alternating between the two throughout. It fits well with the general sound of the album, and also supports some quite haunting vocals.

7) Lucky - Bif Naked - My personal favourite! A lovely ballad with lyrics that seem extremely deep. Possibly fits well in the 'rock love song' genre.

8) Keep Myself Awake - Black Lab - Time for another mellow track to keep the balance right. Sounding almost trippy...with haunting male vocals.

9) Virgin State of Mind - K's Choic
e - A mellow and chilled out ballad, once again some beautiful and haunting vocals can be heard - a wonderful song!

10) Already Met You - Superfine - A change in tone, a much more upbeat song. The rocky sound begins to be shown again. The singer sounds almost pained, but the song seems kind of happy go lucky.

11) The devil you know - Face to Face - An amazing rock track, with some amazing guitars and drums throughout. Far more upbeat than the rest up to this point, sets the scene for some more rock tracks to follow.

12) Nothing But You - Kim Ferron - Mellow and trippy once again, but a bit more upbeat again.

13) It Doesn't Matter - Alison Krauss and Union Station - Another ballad, with extremely poetic lyrics and a beautifully mellow sound. Almost has the power to make you cry. A very powerful ballad.

14) Wild Horses - The Sundays - If the last song didn't make you cry then this one will. Another ballad with a lovely sound and powerful lyrics.

15) Pain - Four Star Mary - Another favourite of mine. A rock track to make the album a little more upbeat. This band have sung a lot of songs on the TV show, so you may well recognise them. A song which is bound to make you smile and want to dance.

16) Charge - Splendid - A drum based sound, music is minimal and the vocals take the lead in this track. Another mellow track.

17) Transylvanian Concubine - Rasputina - Definitely a song for those who like 'different' music. Very trippy.

18) Close Your Eyes - Christophe Beck - Another ballad to end the album with. This featured frequently in the first few series of Buffy and so may well be recognised. It is known as the "Angel and Buffy Love Theme" and that says it all...no lyrics, just music to make you want to love someone!
