Worm Infested - Cannibal Corpse
A couple of songs that could be considered good by Cannibal Corpse standards.
Below-par cover songs.
November - Azure Ray
Pleasant background music.
Nothing much to it.
Isolate - Circus Maximus
Keeping the classic prog metal spirit alive through imitation.
Focus on commercial ballads is disappointing.
In For The Kill - Budgie
Heavier sound returns, a couple of classics.
Abundance of mediocrity in-between.
Don't Fear The Reaper: Best Of - Blue Oyster Cult
Burn This Town - Battleaxe
Traditional old-school NWOBHM for early eighties fans.
Lacks its own style, and no songs stand out.
Disguises - Robots In Disguise
Diabolic Serenades - Ancient Rites
A great early black metal sound, with great vocals and guitars.
Mechanical drumming is distracting.
Perpetual Burn - Jason Becker
Incredible guitar performance from an overlooked and ill-fated musician.
Nothing for the casual listener.
Diamond Hoo Ha - Supergrass
The 2 singles.
It sags in the middle.
