Just before Christmas, I was made aware of Michael Buble by a friend who recommended I listen to his songs 'Lost' and 'Home'. I immediately became a fan of his work and luckily I got this album as a present. It even has 8 extra tracks on bonus CD including 2 Christmas ones. Talk about good luck!

His music in general reminds me of a newer version of Frank Sinatra, high praise that I think is well deserved. I think there's not a bad song across both Cd's and I can happily press play and listen to them straight through without ever thinking of pressing the next button.

In my opinion, the best songs are the previously mentioned Lost, Home, Me and Mrs. Jones and then the extra version of White Christmas as it is my favourite Christmas song. Home is probably my favourite out of all these. It has touching lyrics and Buble is able to create an emotive experience with his wonderful voice. Just a great combination.

Even if swing music isn't your first choice to put into the cd player I would recommend this to any fan of music, Hopefully he will have a long and successful career and I know that personally I am looking forward to hearing any new music he will be putting out.

I'm not sure how much of his songs he writes but there are a few songs on the album that are cover songs, but while some may feel this is a down side I think his version of them makes them seem fresh.

If you get the chance, pick this up, especially the 2 Cd version if possible.
