Childish Gambino also known by his real name Donald Glover, releases his debut album here on a major record label and you do not get much better than this. Gambino is a multitalented artist. Not only does he rap, but he is also a stand-up comedian and an actor having hard a starring role in the hit show Community. He didn't just get the major deal by luck, but has released many mix tapes and independent albums before this and has finally taken his chance here getting a crack at the big time. In the US this album reached no 2 on the top Hip-hop and R&B charts and has sold 168,000 copies in the US so far. Highly original with many excellent songs.
Not to everyone's taste, particularly those who like something more commercial.
|Zenyatta Mondatta - The Police - New Wave & Post-punk - 2003||Wasteland - Atargatis|
Strong leading vocal performance and adequate variation.
Music is secondary to the singing, and doesn't do a lot to impress.

As unashamedly violent as black metal can get.
Doesn't encourage newcomers.

Concept to album doesn't hold up

A couple of tracks are a little weaker than the rest

great punky/melancholy riffs, very atmosphereic, good songstructure

Lots of memorable songs that you will listen to again and again.
The odd weak song.

Glam metal at its finest
Some songs glorify sex and drugs
