Now I first heard about Static-X through a friend. Then I saw their video “I’m with Stupid” on MTV’s Return of the Rock. At first I didn’t think much of it but after a while it was rather catchy. I enjoyed Wayne Static’s gibberish like singing. So I borrowed the CD from a friend. Now before you start to think that Static-X’s album is just a bunch of song s that you cant understand that isn’t the case. There are many songs that you can actually understand. Wisconsin Death Trip is the debut album release from the American industrial metal band that is Static-X. The first album I heard by the band was actually the second Static-X release Machine , I was not impressed but out of curiosity decided to give the bands first album a listen anyway and see what Static-X had to offer with this Wisconsin Death Trip album. The album contains twelve tracks and is the bands best selling album to date. Wisconsin Death Trip was released in 1999 through the Warner Bros. record label.
