I think The Remote Part is equally as brilliant. In case you aren’t familiar with them, Idlewild are one of the NME’s latest darlings. Do not let that put you off. They beat the pink panties off girly-boy ponce-rockers like the Strokes, and hammer the s**t out of Meg White with her own drumsticks. Wild Heart - Stevie Nicks
A must for fans only, returns with the same dry acoustic sound, strong singles.
Not like Bella Donna and loses composure thanks to conflicting and confusing lyrics,
World Citizen - Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian
By turns rhythmical and cutting edge; with a political mindedness it's not ashamed of
The lyrics may be a little too political for some
Urban Discipline - Biohazard
Greater variety, offering some great punk, faux-metal and faux-rap stuff or sumptin'.
Within each style, the songs are repetitive.
The Mix-up - Beastie Boys
Could be used as background music.
No musical ability whatsoever is displayed here, the album is despicably tedious.
The Blue Jukebox - Chris Rea
Pop Rock - 2004
Slowhand - Eric Clapton
Classic Rock - 1997
Blackfield - Blackfield
Slick, coherent songs, good musicianship and tight production
Lyrically feel immature at times or lacking depth
