Tapestry Revisited: A Tribute To Carole King - Carole King

Premium Review Re-Woven Tapestry (707 words)

Little can be added to the praise that has always been heaped on Carole King s classic album "Tapestry". But a group of artists have found a better way than words to show their admiration and love for this practically perfect collection of songs. This is one of those old albums that you always remember to be better than it actually turns out to be when you put it on again. 'It's Too Late' and 'You've Got A Friend' are fabulous ditties, but the most of the album just sort of sloshes over you. There's no escaping the fact that this is very safe, inconsequential ...
