'A Cause For Concern' is the fabulous third studio album from the great UK skate punk band that is 4ft Fingers. With every album this band just seems to get better and better, something that was certainly true here as when 4ft Fingers released 'A Cause For Concern' in 2004 it was the bands best album to date. There are twelve tracks present here and never does the music of 4ft Fingers fail to impress. The vocals are sharper than ever here and instrumentally also the bands sound is just absolutely brilliant.

Stand out moments come here with such terrific tracks as '40 Years of Misery', 'A Life We Choose to Live', and 'Back on the Wagon...Again' also. All three of these tracks are simply superb and with these three the band shows most fantastically its fine ability to pen a punchy punk rock track. 'A Life We Choose to Live' is a song which lyrically tackles the subject of life on the road, 'Back on the Wagon...Again' on the other hand looks into the issue of alcoholism. The songs are personal and passionate, you get a real sense that the band is giving its all here and this is something that is always excellent to hear.

The music is fast and fun, the album is jam packed full of delicious guitar hooks and not once here does the music of this 'A Cause For Concern' album fail to impress. This is skate punk at its very finest and every element of the bands sounds here has been put to record to perfection. The drumbeats are powerful and the bass lines also are supreme from the first second of the album right to the very last.

Every track here sounds highly polished and every note is incredibly well delivered by the band. From first track 'Head Held High' right through to closing number 'Life We Choose to Live ' the sound created here is simply superb and in all areas the supreme skate punk band that is 4ft Fingers shows itself to be exceptional. The music is energetic, the lyrics are extremely personal, and the vocal performance is always incredibly passionate. This is skate punk music at its very finest.

If you like skate punk music then you should absolutely love this album from 4ft Fingers, it's one of the best skate punk albums I've ever heard and every time I listen to this one I smile. Twelve tracks feature here and every single one of them is just absolutely exceptional. I'd highly recommend giving this album a listen, and given that 'A Cause For Concern' can currently be found at Amazon for the mere price of £8.99 I'd most definitely recommend investing in this one. The bands members are clearly passionate about the sound that they are creating and this therefore shines through strongly in the music and helps to establish 'A Cause For Concern' as the incredible album of skate punk that it is.
