Advantages: About six brilliant pop stompers.

Disadvantages: The majority of this album is pure fillerville.

Sugababes released their first studio album with new member Amelle Berrabah in the gang after their Greatest Hits set.

Lead single 'About You Now' is not the most original thing in the world, but that doesn't make it any less brilliant and is already cemented it's place in pop history as a classic, second single 'Change' is a beautiful ballad with real meaning, and 'Denial', the third and final single is an edgy pop track with a catchy chorus that could stay in your head for days.

But how does the rest of the album compare to these singles? Not very well I'm afraid...

The only worthy tracks aside from the singles are 'My Love Is Pink', a Xenomania produced electro-pop track which is very Girls Aloud (infact it's like a sister track to 'Girl Overboard' from their Tangled Up album), '3 Spoons Of Suga' which is a ludicriously catchy quirky funky pop number and was used in the soundtrack to the St. Trinian's movie, 'Surprise', a feisty and raunchy upbeat romp and 'Never Gonna Dance Again' at a push, which has some degree of catchiness.

The rest of the album is a half-arsed effort where sadly Sugababes who are renowned for being a ballsy group with attitude, especially with Amelle now part of the group, just played it way too safe. 'Back Down' is quite frankly laughable, and 'Mended By You' is a flat, bland ballad devoid of any emotion whatsoever. The rest just doesn't bare mentioning.

To summarise, aside from the singles and two or three other tracks, this poor effort isn't worth a purchase.

Summary: Not recommended.
