Advantages: Brilliant thrash metal

Disadvantages: None.

With the release of CHAOS A.D. in 1993, Sepultura surely reached the zenith of thrash metal. The album is a journey through a radical, political landscape from the oppression of the masses to the questions raised over biotechnology, issues as relevant today as much as they were 10 years ago.
However, the political views aside, the album seriously kicks. The heavy beats of Nomad mix fluidly with the native Brazilian Kaiowas and the climax of Clenched Fist. The priceless track is Territory. Sheer kick-ass brilliance.
Sep have bought a lot of good stuff out since then, revolving around the Roots album, but surely there is no greater thrash metal album than Chaos A.D.
