Chaos AD is the peak of Sepultura's career, their piece de resistance and a metal classic. The Sepultura sound is looser than their American equals like Pantera and Machine Head. None of the songs on this album can be faulted, from the call to arms of Refuse-Resist and Territory to the mayhem of Biotech is Godzilla and the tribal sound of Amen. A varied and exciting album which they never quite matched, this album should be in every metal fan's collection. Summary: |
