Sweden's Cryonic Temple are keeping the spirit of heavy metal alive, perhaps a little too self-consciously for their own good. Their debut album opens with two consecutive anthems celebrating the glory of metal in true Manowar style, and with lyrics like "men or women, black or white, together we rock," you know this is going to be something of a cheese-fest, which will either attract or repel listeners depending on their orientation. I think it's a hell of a lot of fun. There's nothing original or groundbreaking about these songs, and that's just the way it should be. Cool, jazzy, intimate feel - songs really take on a different tone
"Highway to Hell" cover is unecessary and spoils the mood

Atmospheric, good vocal harmony (yay !), some tracks co - written by the guys, plenty of tracks
A bit cheesy, takes a few listens to really 'get into' it (but its great after that!)
