The biggest problem I have with Chapter VI is how confused it sounds in striking this balance, as roughly speaking, the second half of the album tends towards simplistic but very heavy and very enjoyable traditional metal, while the earlier songs sound like leftovers from the Marcolin years, which in fact they are as the self-proclaimed Messiah only departed part way into the recording ses...more

a brilliant album none

One of the best albums from possibly the most influential band of all time Some of it sounds dated

Heavy, Great to listen to None!

A very different sound with great use of effects. This is... this is just Black Sabbath, isn't it? But ever-so-slightly rearranged?

Some more Candlemass material. Their weakest album, plagued by problems.

Reunion and return to form. Tries too hard to please the fans.
