Advantages: Good strength in depth
Disadvantages: Only one rotten track
I must be honest when Girls Aloud came on the scene I had no idea that they had won a reality TV show, I assumed that they were a manufactured girls group but then there is nothing wrong with that as I prefer to judge the music on its merits rather than the street cred of the band.
I like this album as it is a bit of a girly album that you can have a good sing song to and a good dance, most of the songs are upbeat and feature the vocals of all five of the girl band members in some sort of variety of mixes with different singers taking the lead at different times.

2. Models
3. Biology

8. Whole Lotta History

12. No Regrets
13. Racy Lacey
There are a number of hits on the album and to be honest there are not that many weak tracks either. Biology is a great dance track which is very upbeat however my personal favourite is the slower See the Day which has some great vocals on it.
Racy Lacey is probably the weakest song on the album however as it is the last track on the album it is easy to skip this one, there is something about the vocals on this song that really grates with me.
Long Hot Summer is another good track and the harmonies of the girls voices work really well, sometimes I find it quite hard to distinguish their voices on their albums and only when seeing them on video can I match voice to face.
Models which is the opening track is a snappy tune and quite fast while Whole Lotta History is also a good song.
This is a pretty good album from a band that has survived the reality TV label and gone on to have a career.
Summary: Good pop album.
