I really love this record. Its an album I can listen to over and over, and something I feel even casual listeners who don't even like or have never heard of the Mission would enjoy and hum and sing along to. A rollicking good-time, a nicely done album by any standards- and the bands' most widely acclaimed in their 15 odd years. Produced by John Paul Jones of Led Zepplin fame, 'Children', released in 1988, is the Mission at their peak- a treasure chest of promises kept and potential reached in every sense of the word. The bands' second LP sees the lads maturing and rocking out in an orgy of dust, heat and American mediocrity. The record's lyrical ...
