Unfortunately one thing starts to let down the album, the quality of music is just not as good as on the first instalment. CD 1 moves though an ok Kruder & Dorfmeister mix of Madonna – Nothing Really Matters, and the overplayed Daydream in Blue by I Monster. Next up is Star, one of my least favourite Primal Scream tracks, Bonobo, Ibizarre and Dido’s Here with Me remixed by her brother Rollo of Faithless. I have to admit when I received the first Chilled Ibiza album, I was very surprised at the quality of the compilation. The selection and variation of the track was excellent and the overall feeling you are left with is quiet calm, a very good chill out album. Therefore volume 2 has quite a lot to live up to, could this be a second choice chill out selection? The double CD compilation is mixed by Lenny Ibizarre; and who better than a producer of chilled vibes that is himself immersed in the white Balearic island of Ibiza, to set down the right vibes.
