Ataris, Anti-Flag, New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio, Descendents, Ministry, Offspring, Social Distortion and Rise Against are all on it. The problem is that how many of you actually buy a Various artist compilation and actually listen to it for more than a week? I think that this compilation is not helped by the fact that all the songs are pretty average and weak compared to what some of these bands can usually produce. Sometimes VA comps are useful for finding new bands as you would buy it for the bands you knew and to be honest i doubt i would look further into any of these smaller bands. Comprising of 12 musical tracks, the collection of music here follows roughly the same template of songs and Various other instrumental tracks strewn together, but without the same kind of sense of unity of the first album. The first track of Shivaree s "Goodnight Moon" seems to try to follow the general opening tone of Nancy Sinatra s "Bang Bang" in the first half, but even as it is a fairly enjoyable song, it doesn t muster enough of the same effectiveness to come across other than a fairly standard pop song with a slight 70s vibe. the album was a deal between four of the major record labels. Now 57 was released in 2004 and has some of the biggest hits from that year on it. Both CDs are filled with great songs from some great Artists , including Britney Spears, Jamelia, Black Eyed Peas, Girls Aloud etc. In my opinion, this is one of the most hit packed editions of Now! that has ever been released and would be a worthwile purchase! The price of £16.59 however is quite high and probably a bit too much for a 5 year old album, however if you can find it for cheaper, I would definetly recommend ...
