This cd is a bit of a strange release basically its like a cd single but was never really forceable released like he's other material at the time.
it contains 4 live tracks from the brilliant 1988 tour with the e street band . the track list is as follows....
tougher tha the rest - this live version is just awesome a great big steady ballad sung beautifully and just perfect recording, the studio version is avaliable on the tunnel of love album 1987 but it isnt near a quarter as good as this romantic live version.
Be true - this was previously unreleased and performed on the tunnel of loev tour its a catchy up temp song with a love vibe and some clever lyrics.
Chimes of freedom - this is a bob dylan song that bruce makes he's own a truely great version that was recorded on the amnesty internation tour in 1988.
and finally the classic born to run - this is a slow version of the classic rock song with just bruce and guitar sung and played at a slow pace you can really feel the emotion and sadness and how great the lyrics are in this song compared to the rock version.
is this worth getting ? well the answer is yes defiantly its a must have for fans and will not disapoint the casual listener of springsteen .
