Advantages: Good variation of music and tone
Disadvantages: Possibly not for you if you don't enjoy growling.
This was an excellent album by Avenged Sevenfold and one of their best that they ever released i believe.
There was an amzing variation of different styles of music within this album. One of the best songs on this album was Sezie the Day. This song featured a brilliant solo and melody. The lyrics to this song are really touching!
The whole album featured some heavy music and also some softer music and overall it went well together. Possibly one of the best combinations that they have ever placed together.
This album was mainly quite heavy so anyone who does not enjoy growling and insane guitar solos i would advise to stay well away. Although this album is probably the best way to start getting into A7X's music as it allows you to clearly hear what they are capable of doing.
The sound quality in this album was brilliant with the distortion just right on the guitars to give the best overall effect and you can still clearly hear the solos unlike some other bands.
The lyrics featured in this album were simply amazing and must have taken quite some time to think up. M. Shadows really shows a variation of what he can do in this album by singing soft and heavy songs. This really shows the bands potential and makes the album interesting and original from both their own music and other bands.
Overall i would tell anyone who asked me about it to purchase this album because it really does have everything that you could possibly want in an album.
Summary: A great album that everyone should listen to
