... fire with a completely new kind of music. Having said that, BMG's Elvis specialist label FTD has done a sterling job with this release, as they have also done so with all of their releases. Rating:

CLAMBAKE was Elvis' 25th movie - he always wanted to be a movie star but always hated the movie treadmill that his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, had him on. This movie was one of the worst. The worst song has got to be 'Hey Hey Hey' - the lyrics are appalling and it is sad to think that this is the guy who only a few years before had set the world on fire with a completely new kind of music.
