Jim Croce is one of my favourite artists, even if the moustache does look a bit Boratish, he definitely made his mark during a small period of time. Jim died in a plain crash at the top of his career whilst flying between concerts, a day before his 3rd album was to be released. This album "Jim Croce: Classic Hits" is a superb collection of some of his best work. 1 - You Don't Mess Around Jim You get the feeling that this is a predecessor to Bad Bad Leroy Brown, has a similar twangy guitar sound, a bit more in the way of a solo and lyrics perhaps not as good but it's pretty decent none the less.
