... about Clouddead is that they are indeed something considerably different. They meld ambient and lush soundscapes with stabs of disorientated samples and juicy simple and/or childish but heavy groovin' beats over which they collectively rap over with impressive and clever lyrics (printed in the inlay, plus track/project info at the back) that in areas make sense, and then in some there's no sense at all, and sometimes it's just making a weird sound from accumulated baby language. The curiously monikered Clouddead are essentially a ghost band comprising of the further curiously named members Why?, Odd Nosdam and Dose One, who since '98-'00 released 6 12" E.P.'s of limited quantity which simply consisted of ambiguous artwork, odd titles and untitled A and B sides which contained numerous odd sketches of cooling avant garde hip-hop, comedy and constant innovation via experimentation.
