I am a great fan of dance/trance/club music what ever you want to call it, that is the reason I bought this compilation album. It does not say on the case whether it is put together by some famous celebrity but the words "Ministry of sound" are good enough for me. Both the discs have names, disc one is called "Beach Life" and disc two is called "Night Life". This is probably because there is a slight variation between the music on each disc. I got this album basically for two reasons-it had Darude-Sandstorm on it and it was mixed by da man Judge Jules. When I first listened to the whole album all the way through I thoguht it was a bit pants and repetitive but like all things in music, if you listen to it more you begin to like it better. So there ya go, if you want an album of dance music this isn't a bad one to choose.Storm-Time to Burn and Darude-Sandstorm are the best tracks but there are many more really good ones such as Sandstom-The Return of Nothing. There is also a good mix of songs with lyrics and songs with no lyrics. ... ATB's mix album for the Ministry of Sound does little to help his credibility as a halfway decent DJ. Although there are some incredible trance tracks on this double CD set (Matt Darey, System F, Lange, etc.), ATB's mixes fall far short for someone mixing for the Ministry. In fact, the only thing saving him from obscurity is his track selection on both CD's (although most of these tracks can be found on almost every other trance compilation from '99). ATB's touchy-feely German trance sound honestly needs to be buried in a pasture and forgotten about, as I'm sure it will be shortly. As for the CD, check it out, the cover pamphlet is almost more ...
