You have to admire the longevity of the Clubland albums, there seems to be a new one out every few weeks. Now up to volume fifteen, two discs of the latest club trancers are stacked up for your aural pleasure. Disc one starts as it means to go on with a wicked little remix of Tinchy Strider. Hypasonic make it harder and faster and chuck in some insane synths to keep the clubbers happy. For something more subdued, head to Cahill's rerub of Alesha Dixon, turning in a funkier edge mix that isn't so frantic, yet keeping all the vocal. 'Noisettes' 'Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go) is rejigged by Jorg Schmid. It not have been tampered with, the remix ... Read the complete review

A review of Clubland volume 15, which was released on June 22nd, the double CD version can be purchased for around £10 online, with a download also available at similar prices. It's a while since we had a Clubland compilation and you could be forgiven for thinking that the record label (AATW - All Around the World) was taking the time to review the approach to be taken for future editions. The earlier volumes of the series were extremely popular and commercially very successful, but as the series has drawn on, the label seems to have distanced itself from its roots, stuffing each compilation with more and more happy hardcore; a niche market, at the best of ... To appreciate a Clubland album you have to understand the concept of Clubland first. The Clubland albums are not about serious music. They are light hearted cheesy fun. They intend to make you feel lively and bouncy and get you in the mood for dancing. It's quite impressive to see the Clubland genre still going to reach a 15th album however the big question is; Is the genre running out of ideas? First off, the track list: Disc 1 1. Agnes - Release Me 2. Tinchy Stryder Ft N-Dubz - Number 1 (Hypasonic Remix) 3. N-Force - All Or Nothing 4. Styles & Breeze Presents Infextious - Amigos (Technikal Remix) 5. Alesha Dixon - ... having bought clubland cd's in the past and have sometimes been dissapointed i was in two minds weather or not to purchase this one. i decided to go ahead and buy it and i am very glad. all the tracks are up to date and have been mixed brilliantly. everytime i play this cd it makes me want to get up and dance! the only downside is that some of the beats can become very repetitive and that some good parts of the song can be missed out however this is to be expected when remixing a song you put your own trademark on it. i would recomend this cd to anyone who wants the feeling of a nightclub in their home with modern trance music. this is a must have for partygoers and ...
