First of all, this is by far my favourite of the Clubland Series. A lot of them these days seem to consist of screechy vocals, almost bordering on that "happy hardcore" stuff, but without the annoying tempo. However, clubland 4 really is a good spend of a tenner. A great variety of tracks and artists, and a good mix between the recorded and live songs. I was particularly impressed with the way the live recordings mix in with the pre-recorded. If you love the clubland classics, then this is the album for you. I remember buying this album when it came out, as I was just getting into all the clubland stuff and it seemed like a good value purchase. I was not disappointed as it gave me many hours of listening pleasure! 36 tracks in total on here. Disc one gets off on a good foot with a sophisticated vocal turn on 'Irish Blue' from Flip n Fill, the track is polished production wise and should have been a bigger hit. Scooter go all shouty on 'Maria' and the song really grates, though they did dispense with the hideous high pitched vocals for this song.
