I must be one of the few I know who didn't really know much of Sheryl Crow before she uttered that she didn't have digital or diddly-squat. I remember All I Wanna Do vaguely, mainly because my brother hated it and I kept confusing it, by some screwed-up force, with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Because it's just so easy to confuse her with Cyndi Lauper. I'd like to add that as a child, I was rather stupid. That?s as much of an excuse as you?ll get from me. Anyway. C'mon, C'mon marks the return for Sheryl Crow four years since her last studio album release. The album is a very sunny album with a happy vibe. This is illustrated by the artwork and colours on the album sleeve, yellow etc. Before I start to review the album I must first tell you to make sure you get the right edition as the UK version features 2 bonus tracks which are worth while getting, so check the track listing before you buy it! C'mon, C'mon, also features it fair share of guest appearances including Liz Phair, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Lenny Kravitz and even actress Gwyneth Paltrow! It was nearly 10 years ago now that Sheryl Crow first perturbed the grounds of the British music industry with 'All I Wanna Do'. Since then, and the release of a further three albums, she has performed the theme tune to 'Tomorrow Never Dies' and 'Big Daddy', and had more than 10 Top 40 singles.
