Advantages: Absolutely brilliant

The Foo Fighters second album builds very well on the post-Nirvana self-titled debut. It is the same formula again, but this time it is more mature and more thought out.

This record contains, in my opinion two of the greatest songs I have ever heard, My Hero and Everlong. Which will be on the soundtrack to my life forever. Dave Grohl has built up a group who can produce the finest rock music around, he moved up from drums to vocal very well, he’s an outstanding guitarist with a great voice and the ability to write excellent songs. He’s no longer just the ‘old Nirvana drummer’ he has established a band that can hold their heads up very high, proud in the knowledge they are one of the finest bands on the planet.

The music contrasts fast powerful anthemic rock music with some gorgeous softer ballad type songs such as Walking After You and February Stars. Buy this album now, it is amazing.
