Oh what a hit miss Norah Jones has been not since Michael Jacksons Thriller have we seen 8 grammys picked up but one artist. norah has to have one of be best voices i think i have heard in a long time the way she has blended so many styles is just amazing i do not know what you would call the style Country, Jazz Vocals and pop all in one downbeat album the only thing i can call it is a dream i can only compare her to Diana Krall.
Both Norah and Diana play the Piano really well although i think Diana's jazz piano style has the edge but this is Norah's first album so it can only get better for this fantastic 22 year old new yorker.
Norah wrote two of the songs (Nightingale & Come away with me) on the album and co-wrote one (The long day is over) with Jesse Harris
i do not know anyone one that has made a cross over album that have covered three music styles and made it work and another thing is that this Lady can really sing live and i can not wait for the second album a must buy

I've read all of your reviews and they are of the same dire, dreadful and diabolical standard! You make a mockary of dooyoo; you see it as a pure money making scheme! With your writing skills I can't see you getting far. You've been a member 2 days and written 13 reviews, of which none read properly at all! You manage to write whole paragraphs with one sentence, and the parts that do make sense I know you have gotten from else where! This isn't you work! When you write a review that makes sense, I will stop posting this comment on it. I have used a different username to wrote these comments to prevent revenge rating, but dooyoo needs to be saved from users like you. 'User' just seems such an applicable term to you!
