Blood Red Throne is one of the more entertaining death metal bands still performing in the classic style, as defined and instantly perfected by the Florida bands of the late eighties and early nineties, only this band hails from the darkness of Norway. While the lack of any kind of cultural identity could be seen as a bad thing (unless you hate black metal of course), it's oddly refreshing to hear such an authentic reproduction of the classic sound performed by fans with a knack for contributing to the canon.
