I am no fan of Deep Purple, or classic rock in general, but this year, I vowed to open my mind to all genres of music, and give any albums I come across at least one listen, so when I bought some MP3's recently and this was one of the albums on there, I decided that I would listen to it and then also review it for you lovely people to read. Originally recorded in September 1969 in aid of a charity called 'Task Force', it was released on vinyl in 1970, then Cd in 1991. It has now been remastered at the legendary Abbey Road studios, so you can guess that the sound quality is far superior, and EMI re-released it in August of this year. The ...
